What is Pongoal 2?
Pongoal 2 is a free brick-breaker soccer game where you slide a paddle to keep a ball alive, shatter rows of bricks, and angle the rebound into your opponent’s goal across escalating levels.
It fuses two arcade staples — the paddle-and-ball rhythm of Breakout and the goal-scoring of soccer — into one screen. Every brick you break clears space, and every bounce off your paddle is a chance to redirect the ball toward the net rather than just keeping it in play.
The challenge ramps as you go: brick layouts thicken, the ball speeds up, and the goal you are aiming at gets harder to reach, so reading the angle off your paddle matters more with each level cleared.
Playing Pongoal 2
- 1Move your paddle
Use the left and right arrow keys on desktop, or swipe across the screen on mobile, to slide the paddle under the ball and keep it from dropping.
- 2Smash the bricks
Bounce the ball off your paddle into the brick wall. Each hit chips away a brick and opens a lane toward the goal.
- 3Aim for the goal
Where the ball strikes your paddle changes its rebound angle — catch it off-centre to bend the ball toward the opponent’s net instead of sending it straight up.
- 4Don’t let it drop
If the ball slips past your paddle you lose it, so position yourself early under its fall line rather than chasing it late.
- 5Clear the level
Break through the bricks and put the ball in the goal to advance. Each new level adds denser walls and quicker ball speed.

How to win at Pongoal 2
Hit the ball off the paddle’s edge. Striking near the corner of the paddle sends the ball out at a sharp angle — use it to steer toward the goal instead of letting it climb straight back up.
Centre the paddle to play safe. A dead-centre contact rebounds the ball nearly vertical, which is the steadiest way to keep a rally alive when you just need to survive a fast level.
Open a lane before you shoot. Clear a column of bricks first so the ball has a clean path to the net — firing into a packed wall just bounces it back at you.
Track the ball, don’t chase it. Move to where the ball will land, not where it is. Early positioning under the fall line stops you losing it on the faster levels.
Read the rebound off the bricks. The ball ricochets off broken bricks unpredictably, so watch the angle after each break and reset your paddle for the return.
Good to know — Pongoal 2 takes the classic Breakout paddle-and-ball loop and gives it a soccer objective: you are not just clearing bricks, you are angling every rebound to score in your opponent’s goal.
