About the game

What is Draw To Smash?

Draw To Smash is a free drawing puzzle for the browser: every level hangs a drawing box above a scene of angry-faced eggs, and whatever shape you draw in the box drops onto the level when you let go. Smash every bad egg and the good egg — the one with the crown — celebrates your victory.

GameDistribution’s description calls it “a logic puzzle game in which you should draw a line, scribbles, figures or doodles to smash all the bad eggs”, and its instructions are just as short: draw in the box to create a wall, let go to drop it, and “Smash all bad eggs in the level to win!” The in-game title reads Draw To Smash!, with an exclamation mark.

The first level is a lesson in how simple that can be. A single bad egg sits on a block of earth beneath a box labelled “Draw any shape”. We drew one straight line, let go, and the line fell flat onto the egg and cracked it — a Victory banner and 25 coins on top of the 5,000 the game starts you with.

The second level puts two eggs on two steps of a dirt pit. One long line, drawn across the box above both of them, fell at an angle and caught each egg on its way down. From there the levels become a question of shape and placement: what you draw is what falls, so a short stroke drops on one target and a long one can reach across several.

Coins have a use. The title screen has a second button, Challenge Levels, which opens ten extra levels at rising prices: 1,000 coins for the first, 2,000 for the second and so on to 5,000, then 6,000 each for levels 6 to 10. Every challenge level also has a Free button marked with a video icon.

The screens are simple. The title screen has sound and music buttons in its bottom-left corner. During a level your coins and the level number sit in the top-left corner, with a restart button — labelled R, its keyboard shortcut — and a pause button in the top-right. Pausing opens four buttons: restart, sound, music and home. Winning brings up a Victory banner over the crowned good egg, with a single Continue button to move on.

GameDistribution lists this Draw To Smash under Momo Games and published it on April 3, 2024, describing “more than 50 levels” and bonus levels. Several different games share the name — Poki, for example, hosts Draw To Smash: Logic Puzzle by HYPERCELL — so level numbers you see quoted elsewhere may belong to a different version.

Tips & strategy

How to win at Draw To Smash

  • Start with a line. In Draw To Smash a single straight stroke is a solid object. On our first two levels one line was enough — a short one for one egg, a long one for two.

  • Draw over the target. The shape falls straight down from where you draw it. Draw directly above the egg, or above the gap between two eggs if you want to catch both.

  • Use length to cover ground. A long line falls as one piece and can land across several eggs. When eggs sit at different heights, a line that tips as it lands can hit both.

  • Let the level tilt it. On level 2 the eggs stood on two steps of different heights. A long line drawn across both landed on the higher step first and tipped down onto the lower one, cracking both eggs in one drop.

  • Restart instantly. R restarts a level at once. If your shape lands badly, there is no penalty for trying again with a different one.

  • Save coins for the challenge levels. The first challenge level costs 1,000 coins. You start with 5,000, so you can unlock the first two straight away and earn toward the rest as you play.

Good to know — Draw To Smash starts you with 5,000 coins — enough to unlock its first two challenge levels, which cost 1,000 and 2,000, before you have finished a single main level.
