What is Golf Orbit?
Golf Orbit is a free one-tap golf game for the browser: your golfer stands at the tee, a needle sweeps across a fan-shaped power meter, and you tap to swing. The ball flies, bounces and rolls, the distance counts up in feet at the top of the screen, and every shot pays coins toward upgrades that make the next one go further.
GameDistribution’s instructions explain the idea: “The key to Golf Orbit is to aim and hit the golf ball as far as possible. This one-button game has relatively easy gameplay, but getting that perfect shot can be challenging. Tap your left mouse at the right time to set the power and hit the ball. As the ball soars, it bounces off various objects, gaining extra distance.”
The screen tells you what to aim for. A bar across the top-right runs from the tee to a flag at 200, with your best distance marked on it, and the message under the distance reads: “Score a hole over 200 ft away to unlock a new golfer!” The power meter is a fan of colour bands — orange at the edges, yellow, and a green band near the middle — with a white needle sweeping across it.
Our first swing went 51 ft. The ball flew off over the tee, landed in a spray of turf and rolled to a stop near a rock. A card announced “On the Fairway!” and paid 38 coins, with a Jackpot bar filling toward a treasure chest and two buttons: Collect, or Triple for a video.
Coins go into three upgrades on the left of the screen, each costing 50 at the start: Strength (“Golfer is 0% stronger”), Speed (“Ball flies 0% faster”) and Bounce (“Ball bounces 0% further”). Each also has an “x2 Upgrade” button marked with a video icon. Gems are counted next to the coins at the top of the screen.
Our second shot went 62 ft and stopped in the sand — “On a Bunker!” — for 46 coins, and the Jackpot bar moved on again. With 85 coins in hand the three upgrade cards lit up, each with a red badge, and buying one level of Bounce took the balance down to 35: its line changed to “Ball bounces 5% further” and the next level’s price rose to 68 coins.
Golf Orbit keeps your progress between visits. When we came back, our coins and our 51 ft best were still there, and a card offered “Offline earnings” — a single coin for the time away, with the same Collect and Triple buttons.
The Clubhouse, on the right, has three sections — Golfer, Ball and World — and a gallery of golfers to collect: we had 1 of 24, the smiling one in the PRO cap. GameDistribution lists Golf Orbit under TapNation, published it on September 10, 2024 and last updated it on June 17, 2025.

Modes & progression
One swing at a time; the distance in feet is recorded and your best is marked on the bar at the top.
Strength, Speed and Bounce, bought with coins — 50 each to start.
Golfer, Ball and World sections; 24 golfers to collect, the next unlocked by a shot over 200 ft.
How to win at Golf Orbit
Wait for the green band. The Golf Orbit power meter has a green band near the middle of the fan, and the game’s App Store listing says the perfect swing comes from tapping when the arrow is in the green zone.
Spread your first upgrades. Strength, Speed and Bounce all start at 50 coins, and each level makes the next one dearer — Bounce went from 50 to 68 after one purchase. Our first two drives paid 38 and 46, so the first upgrade comes after two shots.
Bounce adds free distance. The ball keeps going after it lands. GameDistribution says it “bounces off various objects, gaining extra distance” — the Bounce upgrade makes the most of that.
Fill the Jackpot bar. Each result card shows a Jackpot bar filling toward a treasure chest. Keep an eye on it between shots.
Aim for 200 ft. The first goal is printed on screen: a shot over 200 ft unlocks a new golfer. Track your best on the bar at the top right.
Check the gift box. The gift box on the right says Ready! when a reward is waiting. It is worth a tap between shots.
Good to know — Golf Orbit’s three upgrades describe themselves in plain numbers: before your first purchase they read “Golfer is 0% stronger”, “Ball flies 0% faster” and “Ball bounces 0% further”.
