Playing Penalty Shooters 3
- 1Charge and aim your shot
Click and hold the left mouse button (or touch and hold on mobile) to start the aim reticle sweeping across the goal. The flame on the ball grows the longer you hold — that flame is your shot power.
- 2Pick your spot and release
Let go to strike. Target the corners the keeper can’t reach, but watch the power — too much flame and the ball sails over the bar.
- 3Switch to goalkeeper
When it’s your turn in goal, wait for the opponent’s target reticle to appear, then click or tap the side it shows to dive that way.
- 4Spend power-ups wisely
Both striker and keeper get limited-use power-ups each round, bought with Gems you earn from achievements — don’t blow them early.
- 5Win the shootout to advance
Outscore your opponent over the round to bank trophies, climb the tiers, and unlock World Cup mode.

How to win at Penalty Shooters 3
Never take the same shot twice. The AI keeper learns your patterns within a round, so vary your placement and power every kick to keep it guessing.
Respect the power meter. A bigger flame means a harder, higher shot. Dial it back for placed finishes into the corners — raw power often flies over.
Dive late on slow shots. As keeper, wait a beat after the target appears before you commit — it lets you read the true direction instead of guessing early.
Bank power-ups for the hard tiers. They’re limited and cost Gems, and the keeper gets sharp from tier 4 onward — save your best boosts for when they actually decide a round.
Read the run-up. Small cues in the striker’s movement telegraph the side before the reticle fully settles — watch the body, not just the ball.
Good to know — Despite its one-on-one framing, Penalty Shooters 3 is single-player only — the opponent is an adaptive AI that studies your recent shots, not another person.
